The Lady Vanessa is a former 92-ft scallop dragger that has been restored and transformed into a private museum that highlights the local fishery. Named after Admiral Robert Digby who arrived in Digby in 1783, the Admiral Digby Museum features collections of furnishings, photographs, maps, paintings, artifacts and archives that portray Digby’s history to its visitors.
